Electrolysis Hair Removal

Electrolysis is a method of removing individual hairs from the face or body by using heat to destroy the follicles, one hair at a time. This method is recommended for white, gray, red, or blonde hair that doesn’t respond to laser hair removal treatments.

How Does Electrolysis Work?

First, we insert a fine probe into each singular hair follicle one at a time. An electric current is generated, heating and killing the hair follicle along with the root itself, preventing future growth.  We offer electrolysis in 15 or 30 minute treatment sessions.

The Blend Method

We use what is known as the Blend Method. Blend is a powerful technique which uses both heat and current to kill the hair follicle growth cells.

Treatment Approach

As hair grows in cycles, multiple treatments are required to achieve the desired level of hair removal. Many factors such as genetics, hormones, medications, the size of the area you wish to treat, and more will affect the number of treatments you may need. Electrolysis is recommended for removing white, gray, red, and blonde hair that laser hair removal doesn’t work for.

Compliment to Laser Treatment

It’s also a great way to clean up areas previously treated with laser if there are just a few hairs remaining.
